View Full Version : CRANE IGNITION MODULE ACCESS

If you install a crane module in a late model dyna you will have trouble accessing the first three adjustable pots (mode,rear cyl offset and initial timing.)It is possible to relocate the module for easier access,but not necessary. Mount the module in the stock location. Then drill a 1/2 hole directly above it where the forward pots are for access.Just left of the main frame backbone. This will not affect the integrity of your frame or forward seat mounting area. Put some paint on the drilled area to prevent corrosion.This will allow for easy access of module adjustment without cussing.

Sounds like a great way to make life easy.
More of these access spots should be built into the bike, they get real "layered" together as of late.
