:D Newbie here, not just to the forums but to riding also. Always dreamed of riding but time, $ and parental responsibilites never allowed it. Now it's my turn. Hubby and I just bought my first ride. 05 Sporty 1200C. I finished my MSF course and now I'm ready to learn to ride. My kids - (late teens and older) think for certain I have lost my mind. Little do they know, I think I have finally found it. whip ip [/quote]

Welcome Mom, you'll find that most negative comment by those who question your sanity are actually based on jealousy. It's you time now Tell your kids like I tell mine, "the hot dogs are in the fridge and the buns ar on the counter, seya later!!!"

Congrats, mom - sounds to me like you earned it and the kids are either (a) jealous, (b) worried, or (c) pissed that they can't go with ya!

Enjoy the forums and congrats on the MSF course! 1beer

Welcome mom, and congrats on the new scoot and the license. Your children fall into the catagory of "if I have to explain , you wouldn't understand!" Enjoy and ride safe, Buck.

Good for you, my wife just got the same bike and she just started riding late this Summer. Here is a photo of her stealing my Heritage. Enjoy and stay safe, it's a blast.
