View Full Version : Ziplock Omlettes

Has anyone ever done this camping?
Take a big ziplock bag, break 2 eggs in it...no more than 2 per bag. Close the bag and shake up eggs. Add favorite omlette ingredients. If you add meat make sure its cooked first. Then close bag and drop into rolling hot water for 13 minutes exactly and walla!
This is great for the last breakfast of the campout because you can add alot of the leftovers from the trip.

Just one cautionary note: Use a high quality zip-lock bag. The cheap store brands tend to give up in boiling water. I'm not sure I'd try it again :o
