A relatively new member here, just wanted to say I have really enjoyed this group along with the friendliness and helpfulness of all the members...you are all awesome!

Been riding my '02 Heritage Softail since it was brand new, but now have the itch for an Ultra-Classic. Any feedback from anyone who has moved up to The Big Dog???

Welcome to HCG az85248, each bike has alot to offer, the softails are more fun but the baggers are definetly more comfort

I moved up to the Big Dog, 04 Ultra, Smokey Gold from of all things a Yamaha Silverado (1,100 cc). Man--long--long overdue--with cruise control, CD, CB, and nice huge cusion seats, it is an absolute charm to ride. Believe it or not, this is my first Harley and it surely will not be my last--I have owed it since Feb 04, and have 11,000 miles on it, been to Bike Week in Daytona and Myrtle crusin from outside Richmond,VA. I would say go for it--you will not be disappointed--just wish HD would come out with some form of liquid cooling--Big Dog does not do well in extreme heat during stop and go in traffic jams or crusin the streets at bike week. Of course she runs and goes but starts to sputter a bit from the extreme heat. Bottomline--I love my bike and if you talk to my wife, she would say probably more than her-now, could that be true??

:D Welcome bro. Looking forward to future chats. I picked up my frame in Arizona. That is a great state to ride in. Very few regulations on riders. In fact I will be in your neck of the woods on january 9th for the Phoenix rock and roll marathon. Welcome again bro and ride safe.

Welcome to the fun. I love riding in AZ. Great rides throught the mountains by ( I think) the 17.

I'm more a minimalist myself (I'm always looking for ways to take stuff OFF my 1200 sportster), but a good friend has one of those big baggers and swears it's the greatest thing ever.

Welcome AZ! Went to gard school in Tucson - great roads and friendly folks out there!

Test rode a buddy's Ultra and was surprised at how well it handled for such a big bike. I'm sure you'll enjoy the new Ultra!

Jump in anywhere and have a great time! 1beer

Greetings and welcome to the place. I have an 04 ultra and love it. I've had a number of bikes including several other HD's and I have to say that I enjoy this bike at least as much if not more than all the others.

My wife likes this one the best also. :D
