What's your favorite 'comfort food'.. for those days when all is just plain Blah....

One of my daughters is a die-hard tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwich 'fingers"... the other is fudge, that isn't Quite set.. 'spoonable'... the other is honeycomb cereal, & my boy is soup (cr of mushroom) ..what's yours?

I love comfort food in winter so it has to be a good pot roast with homemade biscuits, or a huge pot of chili, or a really yummy smoked sausage and cheese potato casserole. Oh yeah, and lasagna too.
My comfort food for dessert is warm blackberry cobbler with a crisp sugary crust.

I have a lot as we have quite a few "traditional foods" in my family. One of my favorites that brings me back to great family times is my Granddaddy's Southern Limas----YUM. Basically BBq'ed big limas--also called butter beans I think. made with hamhocks and other fixin's

My Mom's tuna-mac casserole, cheap eats, but yum

Grandmom's fresh baked biscuits with homemade preserves

Trad's Mom's Clam Spaghetti AKA clam sketties!

and much much more. . .

I could go for a nice bowl of homemade beef stew, and some homemade bread and butter. I'm not feeling very comfortable lately, so I need lots of it :(
