I'm interested. From Long Island about 60 miles from you if I take the ferry. And I am pretty sure others from here will be as well.

Each time I have been to CT for a meet, the weather sucked and I chickened out, leaving the scoot at home. I want to see CT!! I'm in. :)

Count me in too. I love CT. Grew up there, but have never really done any riding there. Used to go up to the devil's hop yard, and Gillette's Castle a lot. Love the twisty narrow roads in CT.

If I only could bypass NY easily... I hate those crater filled roads through there...Especially in the spring..

Haha you wimp. I love all those holes and cracks and ledges when I'm splitting lanes. Adds to the challange. Those NY lane changers are great too.

You can definately count me, Frank and Wilhemia in on this one. We love riding in Ct. as often as possible. We know plenty of biker bars all over the state. There usually is a party going on every weekend in Ct.

When you came to Super Sunday Major said that you got to the Hatch right after I left, maybe next time, we have miles and mile of great roads and the hatch is always hopping on the weekends with plenty of bikes.

Is Marcus Dairy still doing Super Sundays?? I heard they were forced to stop. Super Sundays is still happening. But it's not at Marcus Dairy any more. I went last year with a bunch of people from here. We had a great time.

Probably catch up with you in the spring Blaz. kam

They still do two events at Marcus Dairy it’s much smaller maybe 40 venders and I would say several thousand bikes show up, it’s not advertised like Super Sunday, but still a good event, who needs a hundred venders selling the same thing, anyway they have one in the spring and one in the fall, I think the Super Sunday and the Collage is just once a year now in July or August, Marcus is a great place to meet on Sunday as long as the weather is nice there are many bikes there, we have a bunch of nice roads in CT along with covered bridges and nice scenic rides.

Sounds good arthureld. B)

I may have heard you go by. Heard someone go by. I remember turning my head in the direction of the rumble as it passed down Union street and thought to myself..."what the f... am I doing hanging Christmas lights on a day like this"?

<_<

Stop up anytime... I'm usually kicking around here on weekends.

I think it about the ride and not who leads- I say who ever pulls out first should lead- untill the next stop. Or something like that

Everything all set with your bike? The repairs and whatnot you were doing?

Roads
11-30-2006, 04:41 AM
Oh yeah, all set. I was trying to track down noise...but noise travels and I was looking on the wrong side of the bike. It turned out to be a broken cam chain tensioner on the opposite side. And the noise got worse everytime I started the bike. It's all taken care of and I did a 4,000 mile trip since then.
This weather is holding out pretty good for riding. Heavy rain coming on Friday though.
