A bunch of photos from the Tijuana Toy Run today, posted here...

Maybe 5,000 bikes in attendance. No rain. Tons of kids standing along the sides of the parade route, and bikers tossing toys to them. Took us only 2-3 minutes to get back through the border checkpoint.

A sampling of the photos...

I'm impressed, anytime Trad went to the TJ Run, he only came back with about 2 pictures that were fit for a mixed audience (okay, fit for me) to view ;)

Did you manage to swing by the solo angels clubhouse the night before? (I know you went out the night before... didn't you... ;) )

I loke to head over there cause it's a party to remember, plus it's cool to see all the "chopped" jap bikes that some of them ride. :D

Man I was bummed that I couldn't make it this year - thanks for the pics

I didn't go down for the pre-run. I was at the International Motorcycle Show on Saturday, and then another Christmas party that night. Then Sunday morning we did the TJ Toy Run. One of our club members is also a member of the Solo Angeles. He was there, and he said it was just a blast. The city blocked off many of the streets around the club house, and it was mayhem.

I'm guessing next year the TJ Toy Run will be A LOT smaller because the USA will require everyone to have a passport.

oh? :blink2:
I think it's sometime next month, a passport will be required to get back into the USA, regardless of what country.

It's good to be old. The world is going to hell.

Barring additional changes, it breaks down like this: If you’re planning on visiting Mexico or the Caribbean and traveling by air, you will need a passport to get back into the U.S. beginning January 8, 2007. If you’re traveling by land or sea, however, you can go without until June 2009.

Recent news indicates that the Homeland security will move up the deadline for land and sea travel to January 08.

Get a passport and it won't be an issue.
