Can anyone help me. I am looking for a nostalgic solo seat rail for my '01 heritage softail. It is not a springer. Harley makes one for the springer, but it will not fit my bike. Any ideas???

not sure what you mean by "rail"....do you mean the seat bracket or the spring bracket? aftermarket seat?

however, the aftermarket offers wuite a bit. check custom chrome or drag....

Thanks j. The part I am looking for is referred to as a solo seat rail, or a grab rail. Harley makes one for Road King. It is a real old fashion look.

oh yeah, I do still have, and want to keep, the original solo seat on the bike, but I have removed the passenger seat.

You need somebody with welding skills/tools to make you one. I'd suggest Wide or Junior but they're waaaay too expensive.

I just got a Lincoln Electric Pro 140 MIG welding machine 2 days ago for an anniversary gift. I'll make you one for free.

As soon as I figure out which wire is supposed to wherever, and figure out how to hook up the bottled gas, and read the instruction book, and.... :D

The rail that Junior is refering to will no work on a solo 01 FLSTC seat cause they are designed for the old style solo and buddy seats that sit above the frame on springs and posts. You will probaly have to find a rail that will bolt onto a newer style seat.

The first picture is from my bike.
The last two are from a seat that wilh sit on the frame of the bike.
This seat is for sale but will only fit a Evo FLSTC.
