A couple of us are thinking of a trip from Milwaikee to Yellowknife, and was wondering if anyone had any real life experience with the road from Edmonton to Yellow knife.
Thinking about, surface conditions, gas availability, and anything else relevant to a biker..
Thnaks in anticipation

Hi andy, check out these 2 sites. The first one is a blog of a guy who rode to Yellowknife, complete w/pics. The 2nd one is the Yellowknife Chamber of Commerce....call them to find out road conditions or how many folks successfully make it to Yellowknife on a bike. Ride safe and dont forget to take pictures!

Shorty's avatar is nearly as good as mine. If they allowed larger files, my avatar is actually an animated gif!
Thanks for the link, the first one was very interesting.
I might actually call the Chamber, or perhaps the Harley dealer in yellowknife. See what they say...
by the way, you aren't the first to call me crazy!

Haven't done it but people go up on their Harleys, Hondas, and whatever else. If you can ride on gravel you are fine.
