Have any of you ever stayed at this campground:

Blue Ridge Motorcycle Campgrounds -- NC (http://www.blueridgemotorcyclecamp.com/)

or this one:

Willville Motorcycle Camp -- Va (http://www.willvillebikecamp.com/)

We'll be at the top one (NC) at the end of June, but I'd also like to try the bottom one and was wondering if anyone had ever been to either. I haven't -- yet. The NC one has a covered pavilion where two meals a day (b'fast and dinner) are prepared for campers; the Va. one is very similar in layout but has no on-site food. The NC one is five hours ride for me but the Va. one is only 2 1/2, so I could easily visit there over a weekend or even just one night. Both are right off the Blue Ridge Parkway and near tons of great riding.

Headed up by there Saturday with a group. The ride leader has stayed there several times and really likes the place. We are going by to check it out so maybe I can give you a report later.

Do that, GR. There's a road north of there that runs north into Hot Springs (209 I think but don't quote me on that) and it's claimed to be as curvy as the Tail of the Dragon. I already have plans to make that one of my daily adventures while there. Hope you have a great time and look forward to hearing from you.

Oh, I assumed you meant BRMCCG. You might've meant Willville.

Have fun OBG. Sounds like a blast.

Thanks. We usually stay in roadside motels so the bike is close by, but this place looks like a lot of fun and it's in the thick of things rather than being in a town. And by thick of things I mean waterfalls, bears, hiking trails, scenic overlooks, etc.
