there is a postulate that states that if faced with a number of possible solutions to a single question, then the simplest answer is most likely correct.

the other day i put a run/brake/turn spoiler on a friend's ride. everything worked as designed, except after installing it the security system was stuck on. i pulled the spoiler off, hooked up the stock harness still no start. checked the antenna for the tssm, wiring, voltage, tried to disarm with a pin (didn't have the right pin), tried to reset the module....

occam's razor.

since the whole thing relies on a battery inside the fob, i replaced the battery in the fob. bike starts.

dumb sh*t.

I lost my fob a couple years ago. I have to put the code in with the turn signals every time I want to start it. :surprice:
Someone please steal my bike.
