For those of you visiting Florida:

"...a person over 21 years of age may operate or ride upon a motorcycle without wearing protective headgear securely fastened upon his or her head if such person is covered by an insurance policy providing for at least $10,000 in medical benefits for injuries incurred as a result of a crash while operating or riding on a motorcycle."

Note: If you don't have $10,000 in medical insurance -- you must wear a helmet in Florida.

If you get stopped for loud pipes, speeding, etc. during Bike Week, expect most officers to "tack" this offense on to your summons if possible.

Living in a state with a helmet law must suck!Up here in New-Hampshire our state motto is "Live Free or Die!" How cool is that? bottomsup

I remember when MD went from no helmet law to helmets, then to required reflecting tape... we all had to put little 2X2 patches of reflecting tape on the back of our helmets..."little pieces of flair"... one of my buddies put one on his helmet in the shape of a Star of David, just like his Grandfather wore in 1939.

Thanks for the list wrecker.
