DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT THE MAX SIZE OF THE SPACER BETWEEN THE CARB AND MANIFOLD SHOULD BE? IM BUILDING A PAN AND I INSTALLED AN S/S SHORTY E I HAVE A 1/4 INCH SPACER IN THERE NOW
AND THE PROBLEM IS THAT I AM UNABLE TO INSTALL THE THROTTLE CABLE HOLDER ON TOP OF THE CARB BECAUSE ITS HITTING THE D RING AND ACORN NUT.

the fiber/phenolic spacer thickness can really be anything you want. however, to keep the carb bowl from heating up, i would recommend a minimum of 3/16" or so....

if you need more than 1/2", make sure that you get longer mounting hardware.

Hi WFO glad you made it in here :D

Junior has you well covered, any size will do as long as you dont have an air leak with built up spacers, go with one big one or whatever size you need. :D

WFO, run whatever spacer is needed for it to clear. I will not hurt a thing and might even help some. Max size is what you want, as long as it's not crazy.
