So,,, Do you guys have a pickup truck?? We have a 5th wheel but it's not a toyhauler. We can sleep 6 easy. We'd need a tow vehicle for our bikes. We'd just pull our trailer and truck up. So we wouldn't need a Hotel. We could just do a camp site.

Camping would be fine with me. I have a tent and will ride. HDangel mentioned camping as well. Her and her husband my be going.

We were thinking of renting a u-haul or something along those lines. My wife handles out truck and traler well but not in backup or really tight spots. A friend of mine has a tilt bead single but that doesn't help us get 2 + any that have issues in.

Harleyman: Call me I'll PM u my cell number!

i think if i can work out a Dogsitter, i will be heading up and might wanna camp with you guys as well...however, i will NOT be towing my bike...It's ride it or dont go for me...
i also have a tent and sleeping bag, but most likely would not want to stop in between for a night...it's not THAT far is it? I mean, i should be able to make it a day ride i would think...

??

dynaRide

We don't have to stop but it is a 6 hour ride. I don't really want to drive my truck but we can't get our 5th wheel up there any other way.

I talked to Harleyman today and will be continuing to work on the details. One of the Father's on my son's Baseball team, Not Sh2m but a nother one has a brother that lives up there. i'll be asking him on camping places at our next game. I'll keep ppl up to date.

What's up yall?

I am planing to go on the Hollister run.

I have a Best Western hotel in Morgan Hill.
It's only 15 miles from Hollister, not far at all.
I've had it reserved for a few months now.
I have a 2 bed "smoking" room.
And I am looking for a roomate for the trip
I will be ariving June 30th and departing July 4th.
If anyone wants to split the room with me let me know.
The total cost for the room is $110.00 a night plus taxes.
So we can split it accordingly.
Hell, we could probably get a few of us in there if it would make it easier on us broke folk.

For those of you looking for a hotel on your own.

I just called the hotel and there is still 2 rooms left.

They have 2 Non smoking rooms left.
They are $110.00 a night plus tax.

This is the info:
Best Western
Country Inn
16525 Condit Road, Morgan Hill, California, United States, 95037-9533
Phone: 408-779-0447 Fax: 408-778-7170

Good luck trying to find something closer or less expensive.
I've been trying for months now, hehehehe.

I would like to take my Blazer as a chase truck with a U-haul trailer if I can wrangle up a driver for my truck.

Drop me a line with the scoop.

Be safe,
Shovelhead Rob

We're going but will probably only stop in on our way up to the ranch. I'll watch this thread to see what you all are doing and see if we can hook up.

If you pack of road dogs get over here, look me up.
I live in Hollister and am planning to have some good fun.
Weather should be great as it's just now getting warm.
I live just on the outskirts of town, between Hollister and Tres Pinos.
Right across from the golf course.

if anyone knows anyone in the L.A. area who is willing to watch 2 dogs for july 4th weekend for free...let me know...

otherwise i wont be able to go to Hollister.

I am broke...can't afford the extra cash to have someone watch the dogs and go on the trip at the same time...

Dumping my hotel due to spending all my money on my bike :blink2:
Anyone camping?
Only able to go up for a day or two now.
Figure I'll sleep where I fall.
Hey Mightywarlock, you find someone to watch your dogs yet?
It's funny I spent all my money getting ready to go to Hollister.
Hehehehehe, Now let's see if I can get there.
Looks like rent may be late this month. dafinger
Gotta make Hollister.
