Already owning a road king custom, I just bought a VRSCSE2 and wondered if any vrod owners were active in this forum?
I love this place for the people and the input....but water cooled seems to be a NO NO here...
If you have a vrod....let me know.
I've turned 3 new V-Rod owners on to the site after meeting them at work... I have no idea if they signed up or not.
Don't give up hope. You may seem lonely at the moment, but in the not too distant future, we'll be coming to YOU for advice!![]()

Don't have one, but I rented one and enjoyed the hell out of it.
I'm also open minded enough to see that Vrod is the future of HD if it has a future.
I almost cut my hair, it happened just the other day.
It was gettin' kinda long, I could've said it was in my way.
But I didn't and I wonder why, I feel like letting my freak flag fly

I am trying my best to get one
They are 110% All HArley, they may be hard for some to get used too but for myself I think any motor above a shovelhead is not a "real Harley"

Well, I havent picked it up yet. I hope to get it this weekend....doesnt much matter though...going to be cold and maybe wet.
I am taking the vrod to daytona (maybe the RK too)....hope to break it in down there and then hit a dyno. I put the race tuner and a set of rinehardts on it....should get me a little noise and a bit more HP.
Since it's a CVO I dont have any big plans for customization...but did see an awesome headlight and mount on a custom vrod I might want to imitate.....and have found lots of toys for the engine.
Good to see a few more vrod riders out there.
Now that would be an adrenaline rush.Originally Posted by Wide

Hey Wide I just looked at that Destroyer...nice bike but are you gonna find it hard to ride around town with those anti-wheelie bars sticking out like that?

What could possibly go wrong?
The dealer calls me tonight and tells me he has some bad news. I was supposed to pick up my new VRSCSE2 tomorrow and they were going to put a tall boy seat and one piece luggage rack on it for me.
Evidently the rack doesnt fit too well and when the "tech" was installing it (or more like trying to) he scratched the heck out of my rear fender.
Now the luggage rack doesnt fit (and that makes the seat not fit) and the stock seat does no cover up where they scratched it.
So the poor guy has to order me an entirely new fender and replace it.
And I get to go to daytona with a brand new scratched bike
I am begining to think this deal is cursed lol.
