    Re: Attention EFI owners

Thanks for the heads up... I just got off the phone with dealer about a loud hiss I got when I turned on my deuce... I even get hissed at every once in awhile while I'm rolling... dealer says it must be a hole in the fuel line and I have a feeling I have one of those cheap ass hoses... They say to keep the fuel full to avoid to much air intake if the gas level gets low... so think I'll fill up so they can drain it tomorrow... only solice is that hopefully I won't be on the side of the highway broken down on my way home tonight.
I havent been in here in awhile but find it weird that the first post I read is from Kagen that totally addressed my concern the second I signed on.
    damn... thats downright twilite zonish...
anyways... thanks again! i'll let ya all know what the dealer tells me tomorrow

    Cheers,
    You have a clamped "A"?

I have a clamped "A" on my 05 FLHRCI so I guess not a Canada thing. Mine was bought in May 05 in Texas. Enclosed see Photo.

Oh by the way Kagen, How does the Saddlebag locks for the Road King Classic vary from the Road King Custom? One set costs around $70, while the other is close to $200. Thanks for the great info you provide on this site.

I figured one thing out. The reason that "A" hoses (the shit ones) are showing up with clamped updates ("B") is that the techs are re-using the accordian jacket and leaving the old part number on it.

I'll research the lock question and post in the a.m.

The FLHRS already uses a button-type latch. Its lock kit, 46287-04 goes for $69.95.

The FLHRC only has exterior quick disconnects. Its kit, 46316-04 goes for $199.95 and includes latches, cables, plates, brackets and braces.

    I hope this helps.
