There have been rumors about that for a long time. Glad they finally got it going.
I'll probably just have mine updated next time I have it dyno'd.

I almost cut my hair, it happened just the other day.
It was gettin' kinda long, I could've said it was in my way.
But I didn't and I wonder why, I feel like letting my freak flag fly

So, with this new feature of the PC-III there is no reason that I should have the H-D download done, correct.

I will have, in a few weeks I hope, a new 2006 RK. My only mods to it will be V&H Ovals and SE or K&N air cleaner and the PC.

If the PC should fail for some reason would I be able to ride it to get service. Before I had read that the download was still a good idea for this reason.

    Thanks

Ride it probably, ride like crap most likely. I guess this is where Harley will say you still need there download. What i found out yesterday was that there is no correct download from harley for certain combos, and in fact my bike would have probably ran the same(like crap) wihtout the download. I would say just get the pc3, no download, and let her rip.

    AJCJR,
Thanks. Sounds like the way to go. It will save a few bucks for something else.

Re: you can now adjust your rev limit with a power commander

I contacted a Power Commander tuning center in Dallas last week to make an appointmnet to bring my Night Train in week after next for a dyno session. He told me he could raise my rev limiter to 6200 if I wanted him to. I was curious as to how he was going to do it. Guess that answers my questions.
