Hello all -
New member here.
I have a squeak that happens on my '95 dresser only when I accelerate and then get off the gas (doesn't happen when braking at all). Short quick squeak. Coming from left side, but can't really place if its front or back. Only happens then and everything else is working fine.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Eric

Did you pick up a mouse somewhere?![]()
Really, most likely just an exhaust shield rattling.
Squeeks are kind of hard to find sometimes
Also have a look at your motor mounts and throw a wrench on the nuts & bots to see if youc an find it.

a other thing to look at might be your intake seals they can make noise when they suck air , but most likely just a lose heat shield
Bucket list are for Sissie, men do it while they can enjoy it
A loose belt can do that too.

Ditto on the loose belt. Had that happen on my Wide Glide.
My sons 1994 Dyna chirps like a bird when backing off the throttle. We discovered its the motor mounts. Sprayed them with a little WD40 and it goes away for a few days but eventually comes back.....................BG

Another place on my 96' I like to never found was the floorboard mounts. Bump them lightly from behind and make sure it isn't that. :P

For me it was a chirping sound and it was my belt on my 95 Heritage Softail
Hope for the best, but pack for the worst!
lube your muffler mount rubbers under your saddlebags. I'll bet this cures your squeak
