WEnt by the local dealer here Cox HD in Rock Hill Sc to get a new updated version of the motor mount. Saw a tech bulletin that said ask the dealer which side is the top since it wasn't printed on the m ount itself. So after purchasing one ($43g bucks) I asked the parts guys which way was up. They referred me to the service manager who promptly said that the flat side goes down. That didn't make a lot of sense but I didn't say anything. When I got back home and consulted the MOCO service bulletin detailing the new front engine mount, it said to mount the flat side up. I did call the edaelership and told him to read the tech bulletin and gave him the number. Needless to say, I won't be using them for informational purposes in the future.
I would urge each of you to thoroughly research before blindly accepting the INFORMATION given at a delaership.

Now just why in the hell should I have to push "1" for English ??
I really gotta ask this question. I am a car mechanic and really dont know crap about bikes. Anyway I replaced the motor mount on my 03 RK and the seamed OK but the mechanic at the dealership said the engine had to be re-aligned. Now they pulled it into the shop, put it on the rack and done some adjusting on it. Is this true oe what, They didnt charge me, probably because it is my Police Bike, but I hear yall talking about doing this and no one said anything about having the engine re-aligned. I was just curious and dont laugh it I just believed it.

on the rubbermouunted bikes alignment is an issue because the motor/trans/primary assembly unit is also linked to the swingarm. look at the back of the trans and you'll see where the swingarm bolt goes through the trans casing. if it is not all in the same axis, it can damage things over time...

I have an 02 Ultra Classic. At high speed with wife on back, I let off gas the bike squeeks and does same with hard throttle. Is this a problem with the front motor mount?
I checked rear wheel pulley and it is very tight
Help if anyone one knows.
