    Chrome cleaner.

I got to try to clean my rear exaust pipe because I had an oil over flow, not because some chick layed one of her shoes against it while I was packing her.

I've even got the passenger foot peg rods bent so the girl riding behind me can't melt one of the soals on some good chrome.

Now that I've finished with that new oil tank I've been working on I should clean that pipe before riding the bike because I know that's how one can get the chrome to loose its shine.

Is there some kind of chrome cleaner polish that really cleans stuff like burnt on oil off chrome exaust pipes?

The one that I use was recommended by my local Harley parts guy and sold there as well... it's actually a Honda product... called (PRO HONDA) Spray Cleaner and Polish... comes in an aerosol can... black/white/pink in color. Stuff comes out as a white foam... let set a short time.. and then wipe off... works pretty good. Good luck.
BTW, I found that woman... :-)

Damn!!! You guys still have some? PA banned it. We've been out of it since mid July. That stuff was fuckin' amazing for $7. <_<

WD40 to clean the crap off,
and Window cleaner to keep it clean.

Why the heck did PA "ban" it? I love the stuff. I'd hate to think it will be pulled from the market!!!

There are about a dozen states affected. I don't know what makes it so offensive but even H-D's aerosol polish, 99817-99 is illegal now.

    Re: Chrome cleaner.

Good thing I had to take the front exaust pipe off while pulling the starter off to run some longer ruturn hose. That gave me the chanch to buff both pipes with the wheel and compound I got from a jewlry supply shop and used on aluminum.

I went that way after talking to a machine shop about the things I learned here to try using. Good thing I worked for a jewler back in Junior High.
