Drill the hole in the breater bolts out to 4mm. I have done this on several Twinkies that have been bored and stroked and not one has come back with oil blowby. (And the bikes get riden hard here) B)

    Re: Oil Blowby

on earlier v twins you can change the breather gear and this helps a great deal or on all models you can run a t set up from the back of the breather and run a house down to the frame with a external filter i have found this method most effective for stopping blow buy

    Re: Oil Blowby

My stock 88TC shits oil through the breather too, but I see there are aftermarket CC breather setups av to fix this. I could make one myself...pretty simple.
I dont loose enough oil to say so ..but it makes a mess on that side of the bike

Nitram, I followed Juniors' advise on this a while back and it cured my oil spew on my relatively stock FXD. Thanks Junior.
Run your oil bag 1/2 qt low and you should be good.

    glad to help, bud.....

i always try to suggest the easiest things first-

back when i worked for chevy one of the tune goons got ahold of a new vette that wouldn't start. checked fuel pump pressure, injector pulse bandwidth, ignition......after half a day he figured out that the gas gauge was off and it was out of gas.

    Re: Oil Blowby

yah I have run it 1/2 quart low and it does help it, but I think I am going to mod the piece of shit breather so it works right. and I like the idea of having the full amount of oil for those hotter days
