Well, I'm almost packed. Kimmie and I are leaving for Montana tomorrow morning on the scoot. Can't fucking wait to get going. Going to go over Lolo Pass through the Idaho Panhandle. Then I think we will go north and circle Flathead and then do Glacier. Good loop to ride I am told. Got a fresh oil change and decent rubber. Just in case, I bought a flat repair kit. Got some FMJ bear repellant. You never know, you know.
Intend to come back on the high side of WA State over Hwy 20 and then home. We want to hit Run 21 when we get back in Berkenfeld.
Ought to be good and burned out on Monday at work. Thank God for work, I'll need to rest up for a few days.HAW!!
skuuter, you are going to have the most wonderful trip ever! I went the same way you did a few years back. Lolo is beautiful, who can say otherwise. We stayed a week on Flathead Lake so we could make a few trips up into Glacier. The Road To The Sun is unbelievable. You just make sure you keep your eyes on the road cos theres no guardrail and when you go over, youre gone. Have your honey keep a camera on hand for the ride up and back. And dont you dare chicken shit out and take one of those big red taxis! Watch for white mountain goats and lots of deer and elk. Maybe even a bear or two! And then coming back the 20? Freakin heaven!

Did that trip last year through Glacier and the year before through Lolo Pass. You could'nt have routed a nicer trip. Be sure to stop up at Logan Pass and take a pix on the Continental Divide.

We had one heck of a great ride to Montana. The heat was tough at times. 100 degrees + on the way over and back. Well worth it though. Met up with some cool people from Modesto HOG and rode through the Park with them. We rode all day from West Glacier to East. Saw some critters and so much beautiful scenary words can't do it justice. We found out what Shorty meant about "chickenshitting out" and taking one of the tour busses. The Road to the Sun was a steep,narrow,go off the road and drop forever S.O.B. !! Well we rod ethe whole thing and are glad we did. Looking down while riding is not recomennded
