    Right Side Down Tube

I got in gravel today coming to a stop and laid the bike over at less than 5 mph. The right side foot peg went into the ground, and the peg proceeded to bend back into the exhaust. The rear brake isn't working properly now. The right side down tube has a kink in it right by weld and needs to be replaced.

My question is does anyone know if I can buy the downtube online or do I have to buy it through Harley.

I have no idea how this could happen and makes me wonder about the stability and safety of the bike overall, but I need to get it fix either way.

    Thanks
    Bill

    Re: Right Side Down Tube

    Hi Bill

Sorry to here about the mishap

Unfortunately the dealer would be the best place to get it. If you have a parts book you could look up the number & call a few of the mail order dealers

    Hope this helps
