    More Torque!

    Gotta have some more torque. Engine is being seriously worked. Here's what's going in:

    107 kit, JE pistons, rings, pins, clips
    GMR CNC heads, 1.9 intake 1.625 exhaust
    Cometic gasket set .030 head
    GMR bored throttle body
    GMR hi-flow injectors
    GMR 525 cams
    GMR billet cam plate, new style pump, cover
    Andrews complete gear drive kit
    GMR 4130 chrome moly pushrods
    Pushrod tubes for adjustable pushrods
    HD lifters
    GMR installed compression release

    Runout was .0022"

    Have a look at this scoring inside my old oil pump housing. 18,351 miles.

    What was running out .0022 & how do you measure tenths of a thousandth on an indicator that reads in thousandths?
    I knew all along now that I'd never fit in,at backyard get togethers,with their tonic & gin ...

    i'd guess he was measuring crank runout (for the gear drive), the extra two-ten-thousandths might be a "guesstimate" based upon the needle just clearing the "2" hash mark....
