Help with new hard bags for Fatboy

Just had a set of the Fatboy hard saddle bags put on, spent a lot on the bags new and installation at the HD dealership and when I saw them, they really seem to be mounted far from the fender.... any advice as to how to make these look better? or fill the gap?

Do you have any pics? I am fixin' to do this to a wrecked Heritage.
