over the years different service tech that i have worked with use different terms to describe problems if your new to harley you might not have heard of them so lets see how many you really know and feel free to add to this list....
cackling : the back fire noise that your exhaust makes when decelerating
blowing the carb out: meaning doing some fast excelaration to blow the built up of carbon out of your engine "
lugging the engine: meaning running the engine in to high of a gear for the speed you are going usually below 2000 rpm
carb popping: a back firing through the carburetor from fuel mixture being to lean
nose cone: used to describe the cam cover where your points used to be
this is just a few that come to mind feel free to add to the list
