I have noticed there are quite a few late model 06,07 & 08's with incredibly low miles. Many have less than 2000 miles on them. Just ebay alone probably had 6 or 7 Ultra's CVO's with very low miles. It makes one wonder what the heck is going on. It is hard to imagine only putting 2000 miles on one of those beauties and then giving it up. Of course it's possible some may have fallen on hard times but just was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this.

Maybe because they are way overpriced and you can buy a stock bike and spend a little money on it and dust off a CVO. I don't know.....just throwing that out there.

I agree with money not growing on trees and while I am sure that may apply to a few of those, surely not all of them.
A few people in our area just want the newest, and "best" - Brian got his 2006 SE UltraClassic because the seller had already bought the 2007 (6 speed, 110 ci motor). The same guy probably put his 2007 on the market when the 2008 with ABS, etc. came along. Sometimes, the people who have "the best" can't stand for anyone to have something better.

Yes, alot of rich guys buy the best every year and simply sell the old one. Alot of these rich guys bought bikes when it was fashionable - bought the most expensive bike HD offered, and simply found out after 2000 miles that biking isn't their thing. There are a million reasons but who cares, just snatch up those expensive bikes for very cheap right now.
