You dont have to clear coat satin based paint, You can use a matted Clear to achieve the satin look. If you do wet sand you cannot polish it it will turn out to be a gloss finish. If you want a satin finish you have to use satin based products.

hi all and hope this is where i can get an answer.i'm riding a '92 shriner bagger.the color=90303 biorch white.i got a replacement tour pack lid from the moco and i dont want to repaint the entire bike.the ppg supplier gets a deer in the headlights look when he tries hd's paint code.can anyone give me a suggestion? btw,i ride nearly 20,000 a year and am quite happy with my old evo....it's paid me back many times over.
do you have a house of colors paint suppler in the area, if so try them.
