    Glass work on a lathe

This is some work we do at the shop

This is the largest glass lathe in the US, 17 diameter bore and the arms can hold a 200 litre flask.

This is a 10 inch diameter .500 think peice of glass being heated with a Hydrogen/oxygen torch

This piece ended up as a custom gas tank for a vehicle called the "Contract Killer" vehicle not done yet so I cant post pictures but it is just sick!

    Enjoy the funky musac

    hey that's cool.

I've seen them blow glass at the Simon Pearce factory in Queechee, Vermont. Is it the same idea, with air pressurizing the inside of glass ?

Those killer glass guys are all tweakers.

I almost cut my hair, it happened just the other day.
It was gettin' kinda long, I could've said it was in my way.
But I didn't and I wonder why, I feel like letting my freak flag fly

We did make a kick ass contraption for Snoop Dog
Countless hours of research to get it right.

We really went out of our way to make it perfect

Re: Glass work on a lathe

I just found out my class got cut.
CA (and the rest of the world) has bad budget problems.
The reality is that my class will probably never be offered again.
CA super cheap schooling is probably a thing of the past too.

    Tell Bob I said hey.
