O.K. I have been fighting this tire for 2 hours and can't get the bead to seat. I don't normally do my own tires as I'm not really a big tire guy, (pun intended) but I need to get this bitch seated so I can complete the roller. I have tried all the tricks I know short of starting fluid. Any ideas from some more experienced fat tires guys would be appreciated.

i hate tires as much as any one
try putting a strap around the middle of the tire
pushing the tire against a wall while you try to work the other areas
gluing one side of tire to the rim then put it back up and try pressing down on tire
get tire real hot so it is more playable
that is about it for my ideas
Bucket list are for Sissie, men do it while they can enjoy it
Thenks Rex, the strap was my first trick with the valve out and 150 psi wide open. The only way I know how to heat a tire is well.......you know.![]()

Its a dog eat dog world and I'm wearin milkbone underware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A ratcheting strap and removing the stm core was my suggestion as well.
I've done large tires (Truck) with starting fluid and a match, but it's dangerous, although the results are what you're looking for.....

Yep I use a couple tiedowns couple inches apart then pump the tire up
Some lube works great. I use something called alconox. real slippery and leave no residue, Use anything slippery you can.
Leave tire in a warm place also helps but try a couple 3 straps
Just dont wack yourself doing it
