hi everyone, i was wanted to share this with you. heres a pic of my 2006 fxst. since feb i've been working on chopping it out. the mock up is now done. its getting ready for paint preparation.

that looks like it was a stock frame that was lengthened in the back bone and had been hightened.
maybe had the strut horns removed?

the lift is very handy.
Rake 40*, 4.5" Backbone, 8" down tube, ans 7* triple tree. with 12 over fork tubes.heres a pic of my bike before and a pic of the frame mod.

Nice job, ironhorse. Your bike looks a little different from mine, Actually, mine looks a lot like the one in the "before" picture. It's also a 2006 FXST. One day when I get the kids outa the house and buy my HGW for touring, I hope to turn the Softail into a boulevard barhopper. It's great to see how those who've already taken the plunge are doing. Can't wait to see the finished product.

thanks guys, i liked it before to thats why i bought it. if the before looks different its because i put night train drag bars on it. the 7* triple tree and a set of 2 over tubes were on it too.i love harleys and choppers. i like the idea of building choppers the old school way and not buying it like a big dog or something like that. you all will for sure see it when its finshed. thanks again bros.
