EPA legal (stamped) after market exhaust

I know this is a touchy subject but it appears that people are going to be interested in it one day soon.

Here's the only choice I know of besides SE but I'm sure more will become available.

    Bub True Duals and Slip-ons

Anyone that has tried EPA legal aftermarket exhaust please give us some input.

I almost cut my hair, it happened just the other day.
It was gettin' kinda long, I could've said it was in my way.
But I didn't and I wonder why, I feel like letting my freak flag fly

yes I know folks dont like doing things the legal way however I find it a great challenge to build a bike or car by rules, same a s you would a race car for a said class. May be abit harder and less options but ingenuity will prevail and new avenues explored.

    Going to sticky this one

It says they are EPA legal. Are they stamped? It doesn't say. Some city, municipalities and maybe states are going to require that pipes be stamped with the EPA emissions sticker. For example, Boston does.

What will happen, is people will take EPA stamped pipes and gut them.

I would think a police inspection might catch on to the gutting trick.

I read somewhere that the Bubs are stamped. Probably worth verifying tho.

I was coming home from the ABATE campout yesterday after 5 beers and a Margarita and the idea of getting pulled over because of my exhaust didn't make me feel warm and fuzzy.
I might have passed a breatalizer, but I'd rather not test my luck.

My pipes are FDA compliant. LOL

My next bike I'll stay with stock pipes. I'm getting worn down with all the rules and regs. I should say I'll try cuz who knows. Its just I don't always like the look of the stocks. For example, I like a long shot style on bikes with an FL front end rather than staggered duals.

The other night I was jammin home in heavy traffic in my roadster with the top down. So I had wind noise. A guy on something that looked like a Big Dog K-9 was behind a ways. I was just ready to cut into a right lane(with signals on) and I saw the guy out of the corner of my eye. I didn't hear him. I held up and let him pass but he cold have been toast. He had quiet pipes. He had decided to start jammin in and out of lanes makin some close cuts. I think I would have heard him if he had a louder pipe. Just sayin.

If the BUB muffler sounds sweet and it's legal, it begs the question: why doesn't or can't H-D build bikes with stock pipes that sound great in the first place?

Probably has something to do with the fact that HD builds whole motorcycles and Bub specializes in exhaust.
But I'm sure someone will have a conspiracy theory. lol
