Street Legal cam options for 96"

I'm about to have a SERT installed and have my bike dynoed.

I'm also thinking of putting in street legal performance chain drive cams.
They have to fit in without taking off the heads.

I ordered a pair of Bub 7 stealth EPA legal exhaust and will be installing a free flow air filter.
    I'm leaving everything else stock.

    Anybody have some advice?

I almost cut my hair, it happened just the other day.
It was gettin' kinda long, I could've said it was in my way.
But I didn't and I wonder why, I feel like letting my freak flag fly

    Depends what your looking for..........

You want 6000 rpm power or power from 2k - 4k?? There are so many cams its nutz.........
I am going with Screamin Eagle stuff because I am not going to listen to warranty B.S. IF I EVER NEED IT.......
My stock 96 in my 08 FLHT made 101 ft lbs of torque with an RB Racing pipe and S.E. 255 cams and adjustable pushrods......
Just picked up another set of 255's and ,starting tonight, when I get back from riding all day I am starting the wake up the 103 project.......

Also I picked up a S.E.S.T........Installed it myself.....These things are not even close to being hard to manipulate as the dealers want you to think they are!!!! The new model tuner comes with "smart tune" which gives you recommendations after riding on map tweaking.......its so easy I cant believe it!!!
Springer has an awesome right up on it................

Good luck Roger, if your warranty is up you have lots to go over and keep us posted..........
Its a dog eat dog world and I'm wearin milkbone underware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks coolhawg. I hear the SE 255 is a hell of a lot better than stock even though it's EPA legal.
It's also good to know the SE 255 works well with the 103" because I may do a bigbore in the future.

Oh, I'm a 2000 - 4000 rpm kind of guy. I never even hit the low stock rev limit.

I also do a lot of 2 up riding. The Andrews 26H sounds like a good one for my needs but I don't know if it's EPA legal. I guess the most important thing is that I want it to pass a smog test.

Thanks Coolhawg. Those cams seem perfect for my needs.
I still haven't talked to Rosa about cams but I know he likes SE stuff.
He does all the dyno work for the dealer I bought my bike from so he has a lot of experience with getting some good power while keeping it legal.
I don't need to beat anybody. I just want my bike to run good and have plenty of low end torque for enjoyable 2 up and heavily loaded riding. I love that no struggle feeling.
