Interested in members opinions on Marvel Mystery Oil for both gas additive and Engine addition.
I had a trusted friend do a presentation at our bike meeting about it and he really swore by it. He puts 2 ounces in each 5 gallon fill up, and he adds it to his oil changes.
Supposedly it helps with lubrication in the now heavier than advertised ethanol gas. Cleans the EFI system and stabilizes gas for storage.
Marvel Mystery Oil
Would love to hear what my trusted wrenches on this forum think!

I just follow HDs recomendations and have never had a problem.
A lot of people do all kinds of extra stuff and most of it probably doesn't hurt.
But my motors always last forever. What more can I ask for.![]()
I almost cut my hair, it happened just the other day.
It was gettin' kinda long, I could've said it was in my way.
But I didn't and I wonder why, I feel like letting my freak flag fly
I use a small amount to keep my air tools lubricated, I would not put it in my fuel
Both Marvel and Seafoam both do well for the Ethenol issues and deposits in the lowers.
Especially good on slide carbs
just recently got a friends Vulcan running again just by adding it to the gas after draining about 3/4 of the tank of seperated gas
I have used these in bikes for over 30 years
I have used both but settled on the Seafoam on my Road Kings and the son's Triumph
This was developed originally for gas issues with boats.
But Marvel works very well too

to me any additive that improves hang time on the oil is well worth putting in your engine, most of the damage to your engine is done at start up time , parts of the engine will be dry , because the oil has drained off the parts with a additive this does not happen, and as for cleaning furl system twice a year should be plenty for cleaning out injectors, carburetor , and the rest of the fuel system.
Bucket list are for Sissie, men do it while they can enjoy it
I've always wondered why they just don't put an electric oil pump on the motor to squirt some oil around right before start up? To cut down on the dry start up.

I'm not here for a long time I'm here for a good time.
I run Lucas in all my vehicles gas systems and in my portable generators. In a small engines it seems to work better almost no wear. I am in SoCal where its very hot for long periods

Good ol' MMO....kerosene, ATF, and a little bit of mint for a good smell. The propaganda on the can has been working for decades.
The only time I ever use MMO is when I was working on an old engine that may have been sitting a year or two.
I would put some down the cylinders and let it set a day or two to keep from snaping a ring on the first time turning it over
