    i got it- boardtracker

with winter comes boredom. with that said, i started thinking about what my next project might be. given the current times, my idea of a cobra project is wayyyy on the back burner. however, some kind of a minimalist bike might be ok.

boardtrack bikes have been done, so it's not a new idea. i am more into vintage stuff than chops and a restoration of the genuine article might be fun, but pricey to keep it correct. so, a replica of sorts might do.

build a frame, 900cc ironhead, 21" front and rear, girder front, hidden clutch and throttle, sprocket brake (no front brake)....

if i can't afford it now, maybe later....

I almost cut my hair, it happened just the other day.
It was gettin' kinda long, I could've said it was in my way.
But I didn't and I wonder why, I feel like letting my freak flag fly

that's the idea, art. still with a single tube cradle frame and racer bars, but somehow a little more ergonomic in the seating position. an l-head, knuckle or flathead engine is too pricey. ironheads maintain that vintage look and are cheap.

Sounds like a cool project. It'll be cool to follow your progress if you decide to go thru with it.

it would have been along those lines, but i've got some things to deal with in my personal life and a new project is not likely to happen for a while.

life goes on and i'm ok...
