Its a big thing here when the equipment truck pulls out of Fenway park and heads for Florida. We have 24 hour news coverage and most of the folks in Mass. take a day out of work to go watch the truck load up and leave.
Then we know its spring. But those damn yankees look good this year. I think the Sox owners are looking at this year as a "rebuilding year". They won't say it in so many words.

I am on the same page as George. I haven't watched a complete game since the strike and couldn't identify a single player in a lineup Pro or Con.
well everybody has been on strike NBA NFL MLB blah blah whatever.
I love all sports, not as much as strippers and beer but close. If strippers went on strike id still throw em a buck or too, and if breweries went on strike...................... id take the bridge.

I beatcha by two strikes. When they cancelled the World Series in '94 I said fuck baseball in the ass. Then I pretty much gave up on everything else by '97. You know what I learned? People don't really need much of nothing to thrive. Three hots, a cot, and some pussy and you're pretty much good to go.
