    After the tear down we went to the swap meet here in long beach and picked up a few parts to liven up the bike

    To go with the rear Alum swingarm grabbed a set of new take off forks off a softail, adding some race tech gold emulaters to control dampening and possibly a spring change. I want full control of bounce and rebound on the tubes. Were fitting these to the stock front end. Reason for these is availability of newer bolt up disk 4 piston brake set up.
    We went with Lydel Racing floating composite rotors for stopping power.

    Grabbed some fishtails to make an up-sweep exhaust

    Mikuni carb with Accel pump for easy starts.

    That's another thing I miss about the states....the swap meets. Over here they don't haggle and the prices are almost always too friggin high.

    If God wanted electric starts on pan heads he would have started in 48.
    No I aint't jelous. Just because I have a bad knee and can't start my bike.
