Re: is anyone else running a triple X carb?

a 38mm shorty E is just too small for my engine. That was the idea of going with a triple X carb to begin with. On their Tazmanian d carbs, they open the venturi up to 47.6 mms (they are 42mm originally)..... With the head work I have done, that should be the right size for my engine

I have really looked at the typhoon carbs, but the carb is right in my knee, if it sticks out very far. They do seem a little spendy, but the big air carbs are looking better and better
I let my mind wander.......It never came back

I am looking at fuel injection. I kind of like the looks of the pegasus system, but they are not available in CA, and I don't know anyone who is currently running one......The first part is no big deal. I have a good friend in New York, who would forward it to me, if I bought it and had it shipped to his house......The second part is a little harder to deal with. I want to see something working, and know about long term reliability BEFORE spending that much money
I let my mind wander.......It never came back
