I have read good things about the Hot Bike hydraulic primary chain tensioner so I ordered one just over a week ago. Has any one here dealt with them? I know they got payment and have not heard a thing. So I gave them a call TWICE and left a message and have not heard back!!!!!!! Not a good way to do business. I do not have a problem with working with some one but when a business does not return your calls I have to wonder! Here is the link.

Just a few more states and I will have them all on one motorcycle. If you see my bike on a trailer it is stolen call the police. http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r...s/mapsmall.jpg
Any word back from them? Received Product?
Thinking of ordering one of these, but if customer service is bad. I'll go elsewhere and buy.
They never did get back to me but item showed up a few days after my original post. From what I have been reading about all automatic primary chain adjusters there seems to be mix opinions even on the Harley one.

I don't remember who made it, but there is one styled like the old hayden spring tensioners. It had what I would compare to a lifter in the bottom......
I really liked it, but found it worked best if the primary oil level was just a little higher than normal. It took a little experimenting to figure out the level it liked. partially because my bike is lower in the rear, than in the front, so angle played a part
I let my mind wander.......It never came back
Higher then normal worked better?
What reason if any that made it do that?
I am a big fan of tensionors

I survived my youth. can I survive what's left?
the best I could figure was that it just picked up the oil easier. Understand I am not talking a quart extra in the primary, but just enough to keep oil at the bottom of the tensioner, during decellerationOriginally Posted by Wide
Like I pointed out, I did change the angle of my bike though. I used progressive springs in the front, and dropped them 1 inch....On the rear, I used the old WB shock relocaters on the swingarm to drop the rear an inch. I welded them in, and then used 11 1/2 inch progressive shocks, dropping it another inch and a half, and firming the ride up. My bike sits pretty low in the rear....
I would never hesitate to install another of these tensioners, in my own bike again. I did not have a single complaint...If you like the old hayden tensioners you will love the hydraulic one

OK cool I see what yoru saying, makes sense
