I'm sure they will be fine. EBC makes a good Kevlar pad also. A number of companies now offer the Kevlar compound pads as well, but brake pads are one of those things (like tires) that I don't try to cheap out on.
Did you tell them you where going to run them on SS rotors? They have more then one pad compound and sure one would be good for SS. I ran into this problem some years back when a customer put SS rotors on there bike.
Just a few more states and I will have them all on one motorcycle. If you see my bike on a trailer it is stolen call the police. http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r...s/mapsmall.jpg
I have used old pads on new rotors or newly polished stock rotors with problems....Several times.
For polished rotors, I use EBC Kevlars. They leave a nice satin sheen instead of the near gouging the stock pads leaves, plus they don't make noise, and don't leave rust stains all over everything after the bike sits in a rain, because they have no metal in them.
SS rotors are harder (metal wise) than cast and are best used with a sintered or kevlar pad for maximum stopping power. Organic pads may be used without problem but may not be as aggressive for stopping power.
