    Maybe Selig will overrule it. Its too bad. Joyce is supposedly well respected as an umpire.

    Funny thing is, when I see it live it always looks very, very close, like maybe a tie or a safe (which is the same thing), but in slo-mo it's clear he was out by 3'. Those are tough calls when you get one chance, fast motion.

    When a guy has a perfect game on the line he should get the benefit of doubt. Makes you wonder where this ump's head was other than up his ass.

    Chevy gave Galaragga a Corvette today.

    Usually in games like this all ties and close plays go to the pitcher cuz he gets the benefit of the doubt. Last out of a perfect game.

    Jim Leyland the Detroit manager was gracious and said he couldn't tell for sure until he saw the replay. It looked out. Even the runner thought he was out.

    Being an ump or a ref is not an easy job.
