wont idle

have a wierd issue

havent ran the bike for awhile 6 months went for a ride stopped to eat and parked at steep incline , then ready to go I brought it level and cranked it immediately died cranked a few more times while throttling, and was able to take off, noticed I was low on fuel, went about 5 miles orange light came and immediately died thank goodnees I was at the station, drifted up to the pump with no power, would crank but not even run while throttling

filled up tank no idle but runs with throttle

went straight home ran a few lights cause it would die every time a throtled down

checked codes nothing

any suggestions?

Sounds like some settlement dirt etc

Put a can of injector cleaner and take it for a naive ride.


if you had a vacume leak it would be popping

I am changing out the fuel filter and the inner hoses

how the heck do you get the assembley out? I am afraid of bending the pickup is there a trick?

OK figured it out the fuel pump assy has to be pushed down then it comes out at an angle

I had 1 pin hole in the flex hose

got it all back together idles like a champ
