I purchase my 1995 yellow and black wide glide for a great price SO I THOUGHT till every seal was found to be leaking. I have had all the engine gaskets replaced, new rings put in (while they were in there) New Tranny gasket replaced and primary and secondary seals replaced. The problem now is the Primary. No one can seem to fix the problem. Is there an aftermarket seal kit that is available to fix this problem once and for all out there? I love the bike but this is quite frustrating. Any help would be greatly taken.

Where is it leaking from? rear seal? Cover gasket? drain plug? need more info

there are replacement seals....but there are a number of different seals in or around the primary. Can you be more specific about where the leak is coming from?
if it is just the outer seal, this might be a good time to get your own hands dirty, and replace it yourself. many of us here find it gratifying to do our own work...Inner seals require more tools than many beginning riders have, so this might require shop time.....
I will tell you what I do....Most decent auto parts stores sell oil dye. mechanics use this for finding leaks. I get three different colors. That way I have a different color in my engine, tranny, and primary....a quick inspection of any drip tells me where it came from, and then I just follow the color to the leak
I let my mind wander.......It never came back
Last I looked it was leaking from the middle area of the cover gasket. Our mechanic replaced it and he also changed the oil back to NON SYNTHETIC. It did not leak for two days then it started with a small drip. with in 7 days it left a nice puddle. Guess it will be a winter project for us.
Quality gaskets / sealer and torque the cover down should do the trick
Hope this helps

when the cover is off check that it isnt warped with all that tighting it may have twisted, also check that the correct long&short bolts are where they should be and torque them in sequence
GENUINE JAMES GASKETS ! love them, never leak hell I even re-used a James primary gasket and it did not leak, get the ones with the bead on them

Lates news on the Leaky Primary. I noticed if I parke the bike and leave it on the work platform straight it only leaks a few drops, If I park the bike using the kickstand and the bike is leaning over there is a larger puddle. Any thoughts?
oil will go to the lowest point before dripping...Upright provides a wide flat surface to coat before dripping. On the stand provides an edge at the bottom of the primary......
I am kind of wondering if the inner primary seal to the engine case is failing, and the oil is running down the inner primary before dripping
I let my mind wander.......It never came back
that inner gasket can be a bitch sometimes
