    Jetmonkey AKA Ish

This is just copied and pasted from what his girlfirend wrote.

Ismael "Ish" Schmidt left us on Thursday, July 1st, 2010.
He was loved and cheerished by so many.
For all of you who knew him, I just wanted to let you know.
For Ish's memorial and those who can not make it on Friday, hold up a beer, tell a story that you know puts on that smile and remember him for the man he was, Mr. Ismael Schmidt!
he suffered from "Cardiac dysrhythmia (also known as arrhythmia) is a term for any of a large and heterogeneous group of conditions in which there is abnormal electrical activity in the heart. The heart beat may be too fast or too slow, and may be regular or irregular. Last year, September 7, 2009, he had a sudden cardiac arrest due to the electrical work of his heart. This time, we just where not as lucky.
The memorial is Friday at 5:00 p.m. - Exit 73 Bar and Grill. If anyone would like to come and needs anything, just let me know. Our home is open, he wouldn't want it any other way!

To put a face to the man that we all loved & will miss dearly ~ Ish, Wide & TFB @ TFBs house - June 2006

There were few who even dared to keep up with this beast of a bike.

There was never a moment with Ish that he didnt greet you with a huge smile & a hug. His arms, home & heart were wide open to all of his friends.

So sorry you had to leave us Ish but so glad we were able to see you & spend time with you in Houston last September.

I know what you would say about crying & carrying on, I know what you would say about death .. you said it in a photo in Houston ~

    Sad news indeed.
Jetmonkey hung out in the chatroom a lot when it was up.
And I had the pleasure of meeting him in TX a couple times.
The man left a good impression. That's the most important thing.
    RIP my friend

I almost cut my hair, it happened just the other day.
It was gettin' kinda long, I could've said it was in my way.
But I didn't and I wonder why, I feel like letting my freak flag fly

Wow, I only had the privilege of meeting him once that was on the Hill Country run a few years back. Very nice guy in person. But he was also a big part of this group at one time. Hell, he got the airplane tickets for the HCG contest that led to Tradrockrat and Red Molly to move to Austin.

I'm very sorry for the loss of his family. May he rest in peace.
Hope for the best, but pack for the worst!

Ish was the very first face Beth and I saw when we landed in Texas on the trip that would convince us to move here. His friendliness and his friendship were important roles in our deciding to move to Texas in the first place.

    We will miss you brother.
