    Budget Chopper

Just about complete with a Budget build. This bike started off life as a Fat Boy, but, somebody crashed it. Allowing me to strip it and stick most of the parts into a homemade frame. Just finished the electrics and everything works (first time for that shit). Now I'm about to make a seat pan. Not bad for 12 days work.

Very cool. Just a guess but that frame looks like it might have started as a softail and has been converted to a rigid. Am I close?

    Wink

Love that little lampshade between the cylinders -- is that a reading light?

Excellent. Looking at the Choppers last night at bike night and some of them just don't look good. Seems they're either too stretched, too tall with a big gap above the engine, or have a 2 foot wide rear tire. One guy had twin velocity stacks and no filters or even a wire mesh to stop gravels. Seems like someone would come up with something to place in that big gap above the engine like a Nitrous bottle or Condom dispenser.

    nice looking bike...
I like the way you stated someone wrecked it........that is how my hot rod happened too. It was a bagger, and someone wrecked it (of course, that someone was me)
I let my mind wander.......It never came back

It had a fender for TUV. You need Batwings? The ones on the bike were forged by a friend of mine in Holland.

    Nice job.
Good to see you still at it Relic.
Are you working out of the classic car place?
    Damn I miss Europe.

I almost cut my hair, it happened just the other day.
It was gettin' kinda long, I could've said it was in my way.
But I didn't and I wonder why, I feel like letting my freak flag fly
