I have a 08 fxdc, and the stock seat sucks! Any suggestions? Anyone out there have a sundowner seat?

I tried to look at the pic of your bike and see what the stock seat looks like. Seemd ok but then I realized wasn't sure what you were looking for. If its better back support I've had good luck with LePera seats. I'm using one now on an FL softail and its comfortable all day long. Its the maverick seat. The gunfighter style seats are ok if you're young but they don't offer any back support on long rides. As I got older my back was always cramped at the end of a long day. I could sit on the frame and my butt doesn't bother me but my lower back muscles tire out.
You could also try having a local upholsterer add some padding or scult the stock seat more to your tastes. That might do the trick.
