    Le oil

Does anyone use Lubricating Engineer MONOLEC 8820 in their bike. If so do you use it in all, crank, primary and Transmission. I have been told by the company rep that if Harley uses SYN3 in all three then I can use this in all three.

    Thanks for the help

I may be narrow minded but I only use what the manufacturer would use while the bike is under warranty. Harley Davidson has certainly spent millions of dollars analyzing oils and testing moving parts for wear. I figure they have a vested interest in the fact they don't want anything to go wrong during the warranty and they also want the product to last as long as possible so I will come back for another.

Not to mention the extra $$$$$ generated by selling oil to captive customers.
I still don't get any respect!!!

I've never heard of it. I use harley's fossil oil. Synthetic mysteriously causes my base gaskets to weep. Must have a clean engine. LOL
Mobil 1 is a good non OEM synthetic if that's what you're looking for.
