Thanks all for the well wishes. No new news to report yet.
I wish your uncle all the best. I went through this 2 years ago and wasn't allowed to walk for 3 months. Do what the doctor says but watch out for those sadistic physical therapists. Know your limits or they will set back his recovery by letting him do too much.

Glad to hear you say that Silver. I also think Physical Therapy is the wrong thing many times. You are spot on. Took me many years of pain to figure that out.
Cheap stuff ain't good! Good stuff ain't cheap!
I guess so. But if it wasn't for PT Glenn Cunningham would've been a cripple instead of the first human to run a sub-4:00 mile.
Read it and weep

Great story. I remember reading about him when i was a kid. Roger Bannister, a Brit, was the first guy to run sub 4 miles not Cunnigham. Jim Ryan, an American was the first High Schooler to run sub 4:00 minute miles. I think he did it a couple times before he got out of high school. Then Ryan went on to college and knocked the time down even more. Not sure who holds the mile record now. Prolly some Ethiopian.
