    Really sorry to hear about your uncle.

    I remember when I found out that my uncle went down. Of course his incident didn't involve a motorcycle as much as it did a she-male prostitute.

    But seriously, pass along my good wishes to your uncle from someone who knows what it's like to lay in the middle of the highway taking inventory of what still works and what don't. Lost my best friend and a few others this season but so far none were due to a bike accident.

    My dad rode bikes for a long time, and the worst thing he ever did was lay it down a few times. Looking back, he was probably protected by fate / God / whatever. I'm sorry to hear about your uncle, but they do a lot of amazing stuff now. What they couldn't do five years ago, they're doing amazingly well now. Especially in recovery.
