    07 Ultra

    thinking of a new 2011 ultra. got a test ride next week. wondering how they are. now riding an 07 ultra. everyone knows the issues there. mines been bad enough that my wife is greatly uncomfortable on it for long rides. been riding for along time, but the company really messed up in 07.

    i've had enough. time to trade. how are these new 11's? any body know?

    Check out the new Road Glide Ultra. For one thing, it has better-designed lower fairings which allow more air over the engine for cooling and also for your legs. That's one of the main complaints of the FLH__ models. Of course, if you're one of those saggy-bag old farts in white socks this bike will be too cool for you so stick to the Geezer Glide and just suffer the heat.

    You will like the adjustable air wings on the lower side of the fairing and being able to open the lowers really helps with the heat. Have 2900 miles on my old fart Ultra and it is sweet.

    2006 was still the 88 not the 96. I notice the heat in the summer when stopped but not at all moving. I don't notice any vibration other than normal stuff.
